2015+ Dodge Charger Flow Series DRL Boards
1. Opening Headlights
- To open headlights heat oven to 250 degrees and bake for 20 min. Allow oven to preheat fully before putting headlights inside) (tip: put aluminum foil on oven rack before placing headlight in)
- Once headlight has been heated for 20 min, use a flat head screwdriver and begin prying from one end of the headlight until you have worked around the entire light
- Once complete, use force to pull and the lens will slowly come off
2. After Headlights Are Open
- Once headlight is open, remove the inside housing face cover (4 t15 screws)
3. Disassembling Inside Headlight Face + Clear Acrylic DRL Tubes:
- Pull the inside headlight cover off and turn it over to expose the back
- Once back is exposed, remove the T10 screws (green arrows)
- Once screws are removed, use a a flathead scewdriver to loosen 4 holding points on back ( blue arrows)
- Once holding points are loosened, flip cover back over and you can now remove the headlights, face internals and expose and remove the clear acrylic DRL tubes.
4. Installing the Flow/Color Chasing DRL Strips
- Pull the inside headlight cover off and turn it over to expose the back
- Once back is exposed, remove the T10 screws (green arrows)
- Once screws are removed, use a a flathead scewdriver to loosen 4 holding points on back ( blue arrows)
- Once holding points are loosened, flip cover back over and you can now remove the headlights, face internals and expose and remove the clear acrylic DRL tubes.
5. Putting the Internals Back Together
- Place the face cover back on the headlight, tighten all screws back in place and run wires out the headlights.
- Be sure to seal any holes you make for the wires
6. Sealing the Headlight
- Seal the headlights using OEM grade Butyl or professional sealant. Please see our help center for resources on how to open and re-seal headlights
