Overview

Halo Shield™ is a premium extended protection plan designed to enhance and extend coverage for eligible RGB Halo Kits products.

Customers may select:

  • 2-Year Total Coverage

  • 3-Year Total Coverage

Coverage begins on the confirmed delivery date and remains active for the full selected term.

Halo Shield™ enhances the standard Limited Warranty by providing extended duration, priority handling, and enhanced resolution options — especially for custom-built multicolor headlights.

What Halo Shield™ Covers

Halo Shield™ covers verified manufacturing defects including:

  • LED failure or color loss

  • Bluetooth controller malfunctions

  • Electrical failure of internal components

  • Water intrusion caused by factory seal failure under normal use

  • Defects in materials or workmanship

Coverage applies only to products purchased directly from RGBHaloKits.com and only to the original purchaser.

Enhanced Benefits for Custom-Built Multicolor Headlights

Halo Shield™ is designed to significantly reduce downtime for custom-built multicolor headlights and tail lights.

In addition to extended coverage duration, Halo Shield™ provides enhanced resolution options.

Rapid Replacement Benefit (Headlights)

For verified manufacturing defects involving custom-built multicolor headlights, Halo Shield™ customers may qualify for Rapid Replacement Service, subject to approval and reasonable use.

This may include:

  • Advance shipment of a replacement headlight assembly prior to return of the defective unit

  • Expedited build and priority processing

  • Faster resolution to minimize vehicle downtime

Rapid Replacement eligibility is determined at our sole discretion and is intended for legitimate manufacturing defects.

Repeated failures affecting the same unit may require inspection and repair-based resolution rather than full-unit replacement.

Advance Replacement Terms

When Rapid Replacement is approved:

  • A replacement headlight assembly may be shipped prior to receiving the defective unit.

  • A temporary Security Charge equal to the replacement cost will be invoiced before shipment.

  • A prepaid return label will be provided.

  • The defective unit must be returned within 14 calendar days of receiving the replacement.

  • Upon receipt and verification, the Security Charge will be refunded in full.

If the defective unit is not returned within the required timeframe, or is returned incomplete, modified, or intentionally damaged, the Security Charge becomes non-refundable.

Additional Halo Shield™ Benefits

During the active coverage period, Halo Shield™ provides:

  • Priority claim processing

  • Expedited diagnostic review

  • $0 outbound replacement shipping within the United States

  • Extended defect coverage for the selected 2-year or 3-year term

Coverage Exclusions

Halo Shield™ does not cover:

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, fading, surface wear)

  • Improper installation or incorrect wiring

  • Voltage damage or electrical misuse

  • Water damage caused by tampering, opening, or resealing

  • Physical or impact damage

  • Accidents, racing, abuse, or neglect

  • Third-party modifications

  • Consumable parts (fuses, connectors, bulbs not manufactured by RGB Halo Kits)

  • Labor, installation fees, vehicle downtime, rentals, or diagnostics

Coverage applies to verified manufacturing defects only.

Reasonable Use & Protection Limits

Halo Shield™ is designed to provide long-term protection for legitimate manufacturing defects.

To ensure fairness and sustainability of the program:

  • Claims must be for verified manufacturing defects.

  • RGB Halo Kits reserves the right to require inspection prior to approval of any claim.

  • In cases of repeated failures, repair-based resolution may be required.

  • Total protection value shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Shipping & Processing

For approved Halo Shield™ claims within the United States:

  • RGB Halo Kits covers outbound shipping for replacement components or assemblies.

  • Prepaid return labels are provided when return is required.

If inspection determines the issue is not covered under warranty, return shipping charges may be invoiced.

International orders may be subject to additional shipping costs, duties, or taxes.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Halo Shield™ is non-refundable once the coverage period begins.

If the product order is canceled prior to shipment, Halo Shield™ will be fully refunded.

If the product is returned within the applicable return window and no claims have been filed, Halo Shield™ may be refunded.

If any claim has been approved or processed, the plan is considered used and is non-refundable.

General Terms

  • Coverage begins on the confirmed delivery date.

  • Coverage duration is the total term selected at checkout (2 or 3 years).

  • Halo Shield™ enhances and extends the Limited Warranty.

  • All claims are subject to verification.

  • RGB Halo Kits reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet coverage criteria.
