Overview
The all-new XB Gen II headlights are packed with features that demonstrate Morimoto's true attention to detail. Fitted with the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling; Morimoto's new C8-inspired headlights for the 14-19 Chevy Corvette are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium. The signal swap system allows users to personalize how the daytime running lights and turn signals operate according to personal preference, all through a simple plug n play key on the back of each headlight. The DRL can be configured to run full-time in either white or amber with no compromise in intensity either way. The turn signals can operate sequentially from side to side, or in a more traditional on-off mode with an elegant fade-off effect. The list goes on but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. Morimoto headlights aren't the most affordable, but they are built to a high standard and should easily last the life of your Corvette!
Evolutionary: The all-new XB Gen II headlights are packed with features that demonstrate Morimoto’s true attention to detail. Fitted with the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling; our new C8-inspired headlights for the 14-19 Chevy Corvette are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium.
Maximum Performance: Thanks to a new generation high output Bi-LED projector, the Gen II XB headlights for the C7 Corvette will meet & exceed the highest expectations in the performance department. Here, our new C7 headlight utilizes a high-powered Bi-LED projector to deliver a huge boost in light output over stock, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness. The Morimoto XB Headlights are DOT compliant with all FVMSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA.
DRL Optics: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate modern 3D-TIR optics with special optical surface textures that enhance intensity at a distance, no matter day or night. These easily out-shine the low-tech daytime running lights found in most every other aftermarket headlight for the Corvette, including our previous gen units. Their unique sidewall texture adds extra depth to the overall appearance of the light. It’s the details that count.
Easy to Personalize: The signal swap system allows users to personalize how the daytime running lights and turn signals operate according to personal preference, all through a simple plug n play key on the back of each headlight. The DRL can be configured to run full-time in either white or amber with no compromise in intensity either way. The turn signals can operate sequentially from side to side, or in a more traditional on-off mode with an elegant fade-off effect.
Start up Sequence: When starting your Corvette, the DRL Optics will automatically illuminate in a multi-stage sequence when coming to life. Unlike every other feature baked into the XB Gen II headlights, this does absolutely nothing to improve performance. But executed properly; it does look cool, and there’s nothing wrong with that!
OE Fit & Installation: All Morimoto XB headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free installation. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging, and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, flickering, flashing, or radio interference. Thoughtfully engineered for a modification-free install. No factory warranties void. No headaches.
Well-Built: This product is completely designed, engineered & tested by the Morimoto team to meet the high expectations of our customers. High quality OE-grade LEDs used throughout. All wiring and connections are OE-grade. When it comes to UV protection, Toyota has best in class protection. That's why we've formulated a new hard coating that meets and exceeds Toyota's standard for resistance against cracking, fading, and yellowing lenses from UV exposure. The list goes on but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. Morimoto headlights aren’t the most affordable, but they are built to a high standard and should easily last the life of your Corvette! We’re proud to stand behind the product with an industry-leading five-year warranty. If something fails prematurely, we will issue you a brand new set of headlights at no cost.
