RGBW vs. Flow Series
What is the difference between RGBW and Flow Series halo rings?
| Feature | RGBW | Flow Series |
|---|---|---|
| Lighting style | Solid colors and color-changing modes | Animated, multicolor chasing effects |
| Colors | Red, green, blue, yellow, pink, purple, and more | Multiple colors displayed around the ring |
| White lighting | Dedicated white LED chip for true 6500K white | Choose RGBW if dedicated white lighting is your priority |
| Effects | Whole-ring color changes | 120+ effects with dynamic sequencing |
| Best for | A clean custom look with dedicated white lighting | Moving patterns and show-style lighting |
Choose RGBW if you want customizable colors plus dedicated white LEDs.
Choose Flow Series if you want colors that chase and move around the halo ring.
App & Remote Control
How do I control the halo rings?
The included hybrid controller supports both a Bluetooth smartphone app and an RF handheld remote, giving you two ways to operate your lights.
Available controls include:
-
Color and lighting-mode selection
-
Brightness adjustment
-
Effect-speed adjustment
-
Music-sync modes
Lighting effects vary by the RGBW or Flow Series option selected.
Do I have to use my phone?
No. The included RF remote provides an alternative to app control.
Choosing Your Size
Halo ring sizes are measured by outside diameter in millimeters. An 80 mm halo ring measures 80 mm across its outer edges—not across the center opening. Subtract 10mm from outside diameter to find the inside diameter.
Most accurate method: open and measure
-
Open the headlight to access your intended mounting area.
-
Measure straight across the area where the halo will sit, in millimeters.
-
Select the closest available size that fits, allowing for mounting clearance.
Can I estimate the size without opening my headlights?
You can use the size-comparison images as a visual starting point. An 80 mm ring is a common starting point for projector-style headlights, but fit varies by headlight design. Visual comparison does not confirm fitment.
What if my measurement falls between sizes?
Choose the smaller size and confirm it will fit your intended mounting location.
What if I order the wrong size?
Size exchanges are available. Contact our team to arrange an exchange.
Compatibility & Design
Will these halo rings fit my vehicle?
These are universal LED halo rings, not a vehicle-specific kit. They work with many projector-style headlights and other headlight designs with a suitable circular mounting area.
Fit depends on the space inside your headlight and the ring size you select. Confirm your measurements before ordering.
