This installation reference covers Grille Strip Install. Match the product, vehicle configuration and controller part number before starting.
On most vehicles we recommend that you remove the bumper, however, this may not be required.
1.) Before removing the bumper look through the grille area you wish to light up and look at what is visible and what is not so that you know where to place the strip(s).
2.) Remove the bumper and test the placement of where to put the grille strip, keeping in mind that the strips can be mounted on the inside of the bumper or on the vehicle (crash bar, frame, etc.)
3.) Clean the surface with alcohol. Remove the red tape backing and stick the strip in the desired location, ensuring that it adheres well.
4.) Run wires from the strip to the controller and plug in if possible.
5.) Put the bumper back on the vehicle.
