Return Policy (excludes custom items) 

Customers may return an item within 30 days of the order date with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. A photo of the product must be provided before return approval.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in like-new condition, with no signs of wear such as scratches, dirt, or fingerprints.
  • All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • A $10 deduction will be applied for the return shipping label, unless otherwise specified (exceptions may apply).
  • For larger items a $35 return shipping label fee may apply.
  • If a returned product shows any signs of wear, including scratches, dirt, or fingerprints, a 35% restocking fee will apply, or the return may be denied.

All returned products will be inspected upon arrival to ensure they meet the return conditions. If they do not, additional fees may apply, or the return may be rejected.

Return Policy for Custom Items

Due to the personalized nature of our custom products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for any custom-built or personalized items. This includes products such as custom headlights, tail lights, and other custom LED designs. We highly recommend confirming your order details and product specifications before finalizing your purchase to ensure it meets your needs.

If you encounter any issues with your product, our warranty ensures that we will work with you to repair or resolve the problem within the covered period. If repairs are not possible, we will find the best alternative solution available. 

Exchange Policy

Customers may exchange an item within 60 days of the order date with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

Exchange Conditions:

  • Items should be in like-new condition and uninstalled to be eligible for exchange. However, certain products that have been lightly used may still qualify for an exchange, subject to inspection and a restocking fee.
  • If the product shows signs of use or installation, a 15 or 35% restocking fee may apply based on condition of item. 
  • To avoid restocking fees, ensure the product is properly packed and returned in like-new condition.
  • A $10 return shipping label fee will also apply to all exchanges if we provide a return label.
  • For larger items a $35 return shipping label fee may apply.

All exchanged products will be inspected upon return. If they do not meet the required conditions, additional fees may apply, or the exchange may be denied.

        How Can I Track My Return?

        Once your return has been approved and you receive a prepaid return label, you can track the return using the tracking number provided in your return confirmation email.

        Steps to Track Your Return:

        1. Check Your Email – After your return is approved, we will send you a confirmation email with a prepaid return label which features your tracking number.
        2. Track Your Package – Use the tracking number on the carrier’s website (e.g., USPS, UPS, DHL) to monitor the return’s progress.
        3. Return Processing – Returns are processed every Wednesday and Friday. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the next steps.

        Defective Product Policy

        At RGB Halo Kits, we stand by the quality of our products and offer warranty support for any defects in materials or workmanship. However, defective products are only eligible for return if the defect is identified before installation, as recommended in our included wiring manual.

        Warranty & Replacement Process:

        • Before Installation: If a defect is found before the product is installed, the item may be returned for a replacement or refund with an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request.
        • After Installation: Once a product has been installed or shows signs of use (e.g., scratches, dirt, fingerprints, or wiring modifications), it is no longer eligible for a refund. Instead, we will repair or replace the defective item under our 1-year warranty.
        • If a repair or replacement is not possible, we will discuss alternative solutions to resolve the issue.

        Yes, if your return is approved, RGB Halo Kits will provide a prepaid return label. A $10 return shipping fee will be deducted for small to medium-sized items, while larger items like headlights and taillights may have a return shipping deduction of up to $35, depending on size and weight.

        Yes, if you need to return an item, RGB Halo Kits will provide a prepaid return label. For exchanges, a $10 fee will be added or deducted from the order total for small to medium-sized items. For prebuilt headlights and taillights, the fee will be $35.

        If the exchanged item is of equal or greater value, you will not be charged for return shipping.

        Refunds FAQS

        Returns are processed bi-weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays. Once we receive the returned items, refunds will be issued within 1-3 business days. Please note that it may take up to 7 additional days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

        • Refunds are only applicable on returned items.
        • Refunds are not applicable to used or faulty items or missing items from shipment (faulty or missing items will be replaced at no charge within 30 days).
        • Refunds or Returns are not applicable due to non-receipt of a product if tracking confirms delivery or for custom-made-to-order items like prebuilt headlights.
        • Warranties, Returns, and Exchanges are only applicable to orders purchased directly from rgbhalokits.com and not from third-party vendors and sites.
        • RGB Halo Kits recommends confirming your order contents and testing products as soon as you receive them and prior to installation. We reserve the right to correct any packaging errors or defective merchandise.
        • Refunds are not applicable to products that are returned used, damaged, or defective, or modified.
        • Refunds can only be applied to the card used to make the purchase.
        • Installation cost: all warranties, returns, or exchanges cover the cost of the product itself. RGB Halo Kits cannot cover any installation-related costs for any reason.
        • Orders in which warranty or replacement parts have been sent out or warranty claims have been made in the past are not eligible for return or exchange.
        • International returns/exchanges: the customer is responsible for return label costs. RGB Halo kits will only issue a return label for USA orders.
