Mesh Grill vs 3M Mounting
Our GTI Badge has been designed to have a near-universal fit with as many grills as possible, OEM and Aftermarket! Our badge connects to your grill via 3M or zip ties. These are hidden behind the logo to allow for a clean install.
3M Mounting: Most OEM GTI/GLI badges are removable from the OEM grill via some clips. Behind it lies a flat surface with holes/slots in it for the clips to connect to as seen below. If your grill looks like this or has a flat surface to mount to, select and download our 3M Mounting Install Guide PDF.
Mesh Grill: If you have an aftermarket/OEM grill with a mesh pattern that does not have a flat surface similar to above and only has mesh, select and download our Mesh Grill Install Guide PDF mounting solution that uses zip ties to connect the logo to your grill.
