Wire glands are devices used to secure and protect LED product wires / cables as they enter or exit enclosures, such as automotive headlamps.
They provide a tight seal to prevent dust, moisture, and mechanical stress from affecting the wiring.
Wire glands can be used all of our headlight Products. In some cases you may need to de-pin wires on large jobs in which many wires need to go through one gland.
Our glands are designed to be waterproof or resistant to moisture, making them suitable for headlight use.
- Prepare the Housing : Drill a small hole in the housing the size of the gland opening.
- Install the Gland: Insert the gland into the hole of the enclosure or panel and tighten it securely.
- Run wires + Seal the Gland: Run your multicolor wires through the gland out the headlight + tighten the gland to create a seal around the wires.
