On most vehicles we recommend that you remove the bumper, however this may not be required.
1.) Before removing the bumper look through the grille area, you wish to light up and look at what is visible and what is not so that you know where to place the strip(s).
2.) Remove bumper and test placement of where to put the grille strip, keeping in mind that the strips can be mounted on the inside of the bumper or on the vehicle (crash bar, frame, etc.)
3.) Clean the surface with alcohol. Remove red tape backing and stick strip in desired location, ensuring that it adheres well.
4.) Run wires from strip to the controller and plug in if possible.
5.) Put bumper back on vehicle.
